Bet ROS has heard that he's his harshest critic too many times. Davis was merely alluding to it and he has a clear 'buck off' look on his face.

I'm not a Ronnie fan by any means, but what an insane talent he is. Practice in no substitute for competitive snooker, and that he can not only compete but win in spite of time off is beyond impressive.
He's the most naturally gifted sportsman I've ever seen.

Nice to see Ronnie looking happy when he wins, and his interviewing is so less cringe-worthy these days.

Great clearance.
Selby was never really in the match.

His attitude is spot on. As long as that is right the rest will come naturally.

O'Sullivan-Selby matches are truly always special. Probably the most intense rivalry this sport has ever seen.
And even though there might be some needle between them, I'm sure they have the utmost respect for each other.

What's the highest break ever made in a frame that player eventually lost?
To make a 70 break and still lose must be the record?!

Think Willie Thorne lost a frame after making an 80.

What an incredible clearance that was, just
Under pressure, it probably is one of Ronnie's finest clearances, especially some of the shots he had to pull off there.
Selby was just outplayed today, Ronnie's long potting if not 100% was pretty close to it. Selby ran out of position very often, plus his break off shots the first 3 frames he did them were just amateurish.
Very very happy for this result.

That'd snake hiss me off more after mistakenly eating a jam doughnut earlier. I really fancied a chocolate doughnut, and picked up the wrong thing.

And if ended up getting beat by Higgins or Robbo/Trump over the weekend what statement would that make?

I had a bet on Selby, but I am really glad to see Ronnie winning in that way.
His long potting was phenomenal.

SO I absolutely loved when the cameraman zoomed in on Selby's face in that clearance... it reminded me of the 2010 Final when they zoomed in on Ronnie's face after Selby doubled the red.

He outplayed Selby in the safety department but I mean. No matter what you're doing, that guy is always coming back, doesn't he? It's just his usual business.
I really felt the worst and if it had gone 5:4, who knows what would have happened.

After all his finals against Trump that was a proper way to close a match.
