Out of interest does anyone think that Allen or Hawkins could reach the final from the top half ?

Hawkins maybe. Robbo has Allen's number these days, but if Judd got through it'd be 50/50 between him and Allen.

The maybe was for beating Robbo. I'd say Robbo would be favourite, but Hawkins managed to beat him at the top of his game over 25 frames.

I have noticed Robbo has tightened up a lot in his last few crucible visits. Its almost like he is playing more not to lose instead of trying to win. Will be interesting to see how he performs there this year

Will miss all of today's live action. Not fussed about this match tho would watch it if I was in. Will record the ROS/Selby match on ES and watch it late night or early tomorrow.
The challenge is not to see the score before watching. Will it be possible?

Should be. I've missed Man U scores in the past.
May have to be careful what you look at though. No going on any websites until the match.
I:ve accidentally seen sports headlines by looking at the BBC main news website.

Fancy Mark to win. Been in good form lately and has been only been beat by players who played unstoppable snooker on their day IE Robertson and Gould. Played a good game against Murphy. Hawkins was abit stop/start snooker against Perry, will need to up his game to beat Mark on that performance.

Anyway, at least you didn't go into hiding like a certain GJ...

BBC showing some snooker on the TV. Means it won't get started after 15 minutes of drivel.

Hoping for a great high quality match, hopefully we have a decider or at least 10 frames being played.
May the best player win.

Why bottom around with the past when there's live stuff to be shown. You can stick it on Snooker Extra.

You say that, but a match like that will be 4-5 hrs, and then you get a bunch of people complaining about bad standard.

Selby was gutted, you could see it. He showed a lot of emotion during the match. He really wants more Masters titles. Ronnie stayed cool.

If Murphy was playing Hawkins here, would he give an opinion on himself?

I would. Past is the past.
They also have time after the match is over for stuff like that, considering the BBC have time until 6.

Understandable, as it's his favourite tournament. But as things stand, Ronnie denied him 3 times in the last 7 years, 2 times in the final.
