6-4 Higgins. Was easily the heavier scorer, says a lot how he almost went into a decider.

I laughed at Allen's, because it makes him sound 50.

What comment? The one Trump said either Fu or Robbo should be more scared of him than him of them?

Anyway, Higgins played absolutely brilliant, but it could also have gone to a decider as well had Liang taken that opportunity. Shame he didn't.
Like SO said, if Higgins plays anything like that, Bingham won't stand a chance against him, but it's a diferent day, diferent match.
Higgins too, much like Selby, can easily play marmite in their respective following matches. But so far both have been the ones who have impressed me the most, honorable mention for Allen too.

Now I'm back, I got to ask. What were Davis and Doherty on about at the start of the match?
I know Higgins is favourite, but did they really have to over-sell the idea that Wenbo had absolutely zero chance of victory?

Just got back from Ally Pally, this was a really great match, both players really on top of their game today, just that experience of Higgins enough to get him over the line. First time I've seen Liang live and I was very impressed, I feel that sometimes he maybe just went for one shot too many and played a bit too quickly, but he was really good to watch.

Cheers Sundaygirl, yeah it was a long journey back to Dorset from North London! I just think the atmosphere at live events is so much better than watching on the telly.
