I just got in from the pub.
There's something wrong with my telly. It says that Selby is winning 5-0.

The pub next door to my flat don't have Eurosport any more. I asked, they couldn't show the snooker.
If I go again to watch snooker, it'll have to be on BBC or ITV.

What is the point? I get back from the pub, and ten minutes later the match is over.
I might as well have stayed for another pint.
buck it, I am going for another drink. I live next door.

And it's 6-0. Wasn't expecting it to be this easy but
As far as I'm concerned it's a fresh slate for both him and ROS on Thursday.

That's what you get for being social
At least you can still watch the highlights later this evening on the BBC.

Selby played great in the first four frames, but crap in the last two. To be honest i think even I could have beaten Walden today.

Or it will be Selby's turn, just like their last meeting here.
I'm not worried at all by this performance, a diferent match is a diferent match and Selby could just as well play marmite on Thursday afternoon.

Yeah, it looked like Walden might make it difficult for him because he looked good in the first frame. But then he gave Selby one chance in that frame and he potted every difficult ball to steal it. Selby was on fire in those first four frames. His level dropped after the MSI, but the damage was already done by then.
Loved watching Selby play like that. If only he could always play like that...

Precisely Skull.
Only a fool would think Selby will thrash Ronnie on Thursday.
It will likely end 6-4 or 6-5 either way.

Selby may win. Ronnie might win. Ronnie didn't have many problems with Selby at the 2014 Masters. Anyway, I wont lose any sleep over it no matter what happens. Ronnie's got nothing left to prove. The other players have to prove that they're better than an old man. Selby is the world number one, so he should have no problem beating a 40 year old man, should he? We'll see..

Very well said Holden, it shall be a great match, no matter who wins.
I obviously want a Ronnie win, but as you say he has nothing left to prove, let's see how this one pans out..

I'm also relaxed thinking about that match. Make no mistake, I won't be should it be close but at the moment I'm at peace with Ronnie and his status in the game.

Yeah if it's like 4-4 or 5-5 or something like that we have to be nervous, it's only natural.
But as Holden says I won't lose any sleep over it, probably just upset for an hour or so and then it will be gone.
This is their first meeting here that isn't a Final.
