I think people sometimes mistake his feistiness for bottle.

But I always loved his style of play and demeanor around the table, so yeah it's a shame he hasn't won more. He loves the PTCs though

Looks like 5-2. There are definite signs of weakness in Allen though which should encourage Mags.

Allen is not the same after the MSI, but with 5-2 just can't lose.
He looks beatable by a good Kyren, though, in the semi.

Missing reds like that won't help Mags though. Allen in and could possibly kill the match off now.

And Allen kills it off very comfortably in the end. 6-2.
Be interesting to see how his match with Kyren goes.

Don't forget that Allen beat Kyren right after in the IC.

Yeah I didn't, and to be fair that performance in Shanghai was one of the worst I've ever seen from Allen, Kyren didn't even have to play well to beat him 6-1.

Allen was awful in Shanghai and it's a miracle that he proceeded through the semis. I was more than sure that Kyren would beat him, although 6-1 was too heavy defeat for Mark.
But what Allen has shown today and last Sunday in Sofia, is a different story. He's the favourite to win tomorrow, but I am sure that Kyren can give him a good match.
