He told me when I bumped into him on Sunday that his next comp is December!?
So, he's not entering the Champion of Champions?

It was the world champion himself who lost the first frame.

Selby equalises.

He must be. That's his tournament. Maybe he said September and I misheard.

even if he was selected he wouldn't play in it. The World Cup is played few million yards away from essex.

Take no notice of what Ronnie says, last year he said the same and started playing much earlier. Ronnie is incapable of predicting his future activity. He also seems remarkably ignorant of this lack of capability.

In Group A Malta is smashing it with two 5-0 wins and Austria lagging behind having lost 5-0 in both matches
In Group B Belgium are the surprise leadersbut very close behind are the two seeded teams Scotland and Hong Kong Belgium is playing is playing Hong Kong next so that could change but if Belgium wins then they are well on their way in to the Quarter Finals.
in Group C its all Wales and Northern Ireland . Australia might be the top seed in the group but that Group is going to form with Australia having a very weak link in their ranks.
and finally Group D England could do with a very good and convincing win against Germany on Wednesday to put themselves in a strong position to get in to the Quarter Finals with the Chinese Youngsters and the Thai Duo looking Strong England cant afford another sub standard display.

Bingham and Selby have brought shame on their country. They should both be stripped of their world titles (which they didn't deserve anyway.)

Shame on their country.
How many people in England even know this World Cup of Snooker is even on?

Didn't really bother last night. Sat for twenty minutes for the previous show to finish. Realised they were only showing half of each frame, and thought buck it. This tournament just feels mediocre.

I really hope one of the underdog teams win and get places in the CoC, that would ruffle some feathers. I haven't been able to watch a minute of this yet hopefully on Friday/sat.
