Gdynia Open (Kreativ Dental Clinic ET 6) !!!

Tuesday 23rd ~Sunday 28th of February at the Gdynia Arena, Poland

Gdynia Open in only its 4th year having been won twice by UK Champion Neil Robertson in 2012 and 2015 and in 2014 by Shaun Murphy.

This year though Neil Robertson has not entered but Shaun Murphy will be there can he secure his second title or will there be a new name on the trophy.

For the first time this season there will be 3 days of amataur action before the TV Stages last 128 starts with 254 players starting out. Among them will be former World Champions Mark Williams, Graeame Dott, Mark Selby, John Higgins, Ken Doherty, Peter Ebdon, Shaun Murphy and the current World Champion Stuart Bingham.

Hehe, I would be frightened if I saw him suddenly in front of me...

Meanwhile, Alan McManus made two tons, but Dechawat Poomjaeng beat him 4-3 and he's going through. You know, Poom, Poom, Poom... :D

Good match on next Maguire v Stevens, Mags is 32nd on the grand prix list so he will be looking to secure his place there. Needs as many ranking tournaments as he can if he wants to qualify for Sheffield.

I think if Mag's drops out the top 16 he'll plummet down the rankings and end up in a similar spot.
