With Steve retiring and Hendry having his taken away, James Wattana will be the invitational wildcard on tour next season.
I assume Jimmy will get one after he falls off the tour next season.
Will be interesting to see the calibre of inv wildcards after that.
Will the likes of Stevens, Ebdon And Doherty get future ones when they fall off the tour, or will we wait until the true legends fall off the tour like MJW, Ronnie and Higgins?

Why is Hendry's being taken away? I know he doesn't use it but he may surprise us one day.
Can former world champs still enter the World champ qualifiers?

World snooker news item said that it was being taken away as he hadn't entered a tournament since 2012.
Good question about the world champ qualifiers. Didn't hear that mentioned this year. Assume it has been quietly dropped seeing as none of those who had retired entered.
