Reflecting on the UK Championship and PTCs does anyone think that all matches should played at the main venue?

I know for the Chines events it's not financially feasible to take even 64 to China. From the Guaranteed £3k you get from winning a qualifier you have to pay flights and food and hotel. (Hotel is paid until the day you are beaten so if you have booked a flight for later in week you are liable for hotel bill. Take 32 to China with the £7k guarantee and its more feasible.
And put on an Asian swing sort of thing. 2, maybe 3 events back to back, would save hugely on flights.

Agreed Snooky , Like doing the far east leg of the calender over 2 months or something of that order.
Hearn and co should look at this as a more cost effective viable way of making it a bit easier on the players financially and for their general well being.

Would the most common sense way of doing this not be WS using revenue generated from the tournaments to block book a hotel for tournaments and give the players one room for free. Okay the players would still need to find flights but the hotel issue would be solved.
It'd help people like Vagei Arouyi and other players as well as there matches wouldn't need to be played in a country they can't enter.
