Six Reds World Championship

Both World Snooker and the IBSF have the World Six Reds in their calendars (Bangkok 2-7 Sep), so I assume they are running this jointly.

Anyone know who qualifies and how?

I'm guessing the addition of a Six Reds tournament at the European Championships (closing date today) and African Championships is because they are acting as qualifiers for this - anyone know for certain?

Also might explain the quality level of the field for the Asian Six Reds - but can the Pro Tour players who are playing this qualify in this manner? Always assuming that my guess is right and this is acting as a qualifier ...
