how the heck did you work out that list

the total seems higher for a lot of players than id have imagined

is that just rankers though or have u included Masters, Prem League etc

the only downside of an OOM is that the top players are always going to do well cos worst case they get last 32 money so its hard as anything for someone to overtake them.

perhaps theres an argument for players only getting half their prize money if they lose their opening game compared to qualifiers who reach the same round?

also with sometimes only the last 48 round being where the prize money kicks in you could win a few games but still be on zero pounds and no better off on the order of merit than a guy you beat in round 1 of qualifying.

Took me an age, but am interested in how much each player earned over a 2-year period. A proper ranking listed, not a distorted one. Every World Snooker event is counted (inc Prem/Champ League).

WoW!

Ding would need to win the World title to stand a chance.

Even then with the WC max prize out the door it will be hard.

im sure Davis made a million quid one year in the 80s

i remember Dickie Davis referring to him as the highest earning British sportman

imagine that now, therell be about 1,000 at least earning more than the top snooker players prob

but to achieve that hendry had to be away from home for about a month winning back to back to back events....

lets be honest most today would want to go home and not put in the concentration needed anyway.
