Star Xing Pai To Sponsor PTC Events

World Snooker is delighted to announce Star Xing Pai as the title sponsor for six of the new Players Tour Championship events.
Star, part of the Beijing Xing Pai Group, was announced last year as the official table supplier to World Snooker for five seasons.

The Players Tour Championship is a new series of 12 short events building up to a televised conclusion. Six of those will be staged at the World Snooker Academy in Sheffield and known as the Star Xing Pai Players Tour Championship events.

World Snooker Chairman Barry Hearn said: "We're thrilled to bring Star on board as title sponsor of six PTC events and to extend their role in the new era of snooker. We already have a successful partnership with them in place through the superb tables they supply and it is a natural step to extend that relationship through title sponsorship.

"The other six PTC events will be staged in Europe and promoted by Dragon Stars, who are working on securing sponsors for those events."
