King had only lost 1 frame the entire tournament until the semis!!!!! That must surely be a record.
Then at 3 nil against Murphy he had evrything to win 4-0, but missed that simple black and from there he too had numerous chances but bottled it. That fluke on the brown by Murphy didnt help matters either, but King was snake hissed and rightly so, only has himself to blame.

Indeed Andre,as you say,one could blame, try n blame the fluked brown and the fluked snooker Murphy had,but King still had chances to wrap up the match, even in the decider he had a very good chance but played a very poor positional shot to the reds after pottin the blue.

And so it comes down to this.
Shaun Murphy vs Ali Carter.
Once more to the breach, Island.

I quite like Tatiana.
I mean, she's no Michaela. But as Barry Hearn told Ms. Tabb to buck off for having the audacity to ask to be paid the same as the men are, I'll have to appreciate TW.

Was that the reason? I heard some vague things about payment being the reason but nothing concrete.

I'm just drunk, so that's just my interpretation.
So no, that wasn't the reason.
Ignore me.

At the moment Carter is on top and generally plays better safety, plus Smurph's long potting isn't on song.
Then again, Mark King was by far the better player in the semi...

From what I've seen of Murphy this tournament, he's not been the better player in any match.

Hang on. First replay I agreed with the referee, second replay I agreed with Carter.
Discuss.

Brown definitely moved. Anyway, it made no difference to the frame at all and Ali was happy to go with it.

What happened? Having mute volume didn't help.

Knowing Murphy, he'll have an opinion on the matter.

Ref claimed he accidentally touched the brown with his cue.

After a long battle for snookers, Carter eventually takes the frame. 3-1.
