Not for me. Standard of play is more important to me. Would rather see Ronnie lose playing great than see him win like a crumbling scared amateur. It's the same when I play at the club as well, love winning but not like Selby did today.

King.Kauto and Ayshirenbhoy were the only two who went for a McManus win over Carter. Ayrshirebhoy was also the only predictor who went for a 13-11 McManus win.
Kolompar was the only predictor to go for a 13-11 Selby win.

I would have preferred a better performance from Selby too, but this just shows that he would much rather win ugly than lose not giving his all.
Sometimes you have to win ugly. Even Roger Federer knows that.
And that's all I want from my favourite players, that they have tried their hardest to win even when not at their best.
Go down fighting even when you're already lying on the ground.
