But the tables don't help the more tactically minded.
Judd will love these tables!
Exactly. General audience need to know these "little" details.
Barry Hearn has done the same thing at the Mosconi Cup in pool. Bucket pockets, bouncy rails and extremely super fast cloth. Add to that the TV lights and you get the picture what the players are facing. Drama? Yes. Good pool? Not much.

Would be a shocker if Holt repeats what Hawkins did the last year by completely playing out of his skin.

Well, that shot from red to land straight on the green was eye of a needle stuff. Superb positional play from Holt.

Holt definitely playing by far the best Snooker so far from all qualifiers, even ahead of Gilbert. At least until now.

Im sure Holt will feel the pressure in the last. 6-3 and he has a chance. From 4-5 Robbo will be relieved. Not sure Holty can produce this two sessions running so needs a wee cushion.

True, he needs this sort of form if he's really to beat Robbo.

Big big mistake from Robbo, but Holt still had to pot the balls.
Banter aside earlier in the thread, Holt has every chance at 6-3 with how he's played this morning.

what a mess Robertson made of that, roll the pink in and its 5-4. 6-3 up you have to make Holt favourite now.

I certainly don't, but as someone said here, this gives him a nice cushion for the evening.
5-4 down and Robbo would just dominate from there.
6-3 makes it interesting at least.
what a miss that was on the pink from Robbo

Holt has Terry in is corner now. I don't expect him to buckle like he might once have done.

The fact that this match finishes tonight rather than tomorrow will help Holt a bit. He won't have a sleepless night thinking about what a great opportunity this is for him.

Apart from Bingham, Robertson has probably the worst record at the Crucible than any previous winner

sad that milkins couldnt take advantage of selbys sluggish play.
selby will only improve from now on and he will be up for it if he meets ronnie in the semis.
just like in 2014 ronnie beat him at the masters badly only to get the revenge in the WC
