He was 9-3 up...but it's now 9-8!
This would be an incredible comeback from Ebdon if he could take the next two frames!
Not sure what the greatest ever comeback is in professional snooker, but this would be impressive!
To be honest, at 3-9, most players would subconsciously have resigned themselves to losing - but not Peter Ebdon!
I remember Hendry winning the Masters 9-8 from 2-8...which is similarly '6 down with 7 to play'.

Nigel Bond beat Cliff Thorburn 10-9 in the 1994 first round at The Crucible from 9-2 down.

Greene pots a very good red/blue but immediately drops his cue as he's snookered himself on the intended red in the jaws of the yellow ball

Tries to swerve, misses and smacks the table with the tip of his cue, thought he was going to smash the balls everywhere for a second.

From Matt - pro snooker blog on twitter.

Greene's been having a meltdown tonight.

Yes, but it shouldn't have got to 9-9 in the first place..

Agree, but he's been thumping the table for a while now if you go through Matt's twitter.

love long matches

Pressure could shift back to Ebdon though!

This is the magic of the world champs.

Greene needs to reach the crucible to stay on tour that is real pressure cant see it happening
