Steve Davis making his competitive come back after a year out in his 37th World Championship last time he played at the Crucible was in 2010 but hes there every year with BBC Sport.

10-7 to Rory McLeod in the end, but a decent effort from Lukas Kleckers. Pleased to hear he's entered Q-School.

Thanks wildey as always! It's only 8pm my time and after a couple bourbon I'm ready to call it a night! Glad for Brecel and hendry_fan should be happy the Scots are 4-2!

Some Paul Davison facts for you guys

- he was the only 'non-seeded' player from Friday to progress

- this is his 20th attempt at qualifying for the Crucible (hasn't done so yet)

- the £6,600 he earns from his First Round win is his largest individual payday in a career of 17 seasons.

Apparently this referee is called Peggy Li. I thought it was Ivy for a minute.

This Ding match.

Told myself i'd watch the qualifiers for the first time, ended up not giving a toss about them. The only score that stuck out when I was trying to keep track of livescores was Ng On Yee, which was poor really. Ken-do is an infinitely better player than Peter Lines and Reanne at least ran Ken close the other year.

But I see Ding is playing, so might as well tune in. That, and play Bloodborne.

Ding looks like he wants to get this match out the way not taking Casey seriously at all.

Here's a wee stat about the number of Scottish players at the Crucible.
With only John Higgins and Stephen Maguire definitely there, if no others win-through, it will be the worst 'return' since 1993!

Another 10-0, Cao Yupeng against Ronnie's former practice partner and future world champ Rodion Judin.
He needs to qualify to stay on tour but he will probably play Carter next.
