Did Robbo only do comms for one frame? Seems pointless. Or maybe Joe Johnson had to go out and collect pizzas?

Yeah. He replaced Johnson for frame 3, then Johnson came back.
Studd made a 'hilarious' gag about how Joe won the title in 1886.
