Even if Ronnie entered there's no guarantee he'd have won six matches.
No, but if you look at Ronnie's career it's not very unlikely is it? The standard hasn't been that great.
Also, I have to point out (again) that the way seedings work, ROS and Robbo would have played in the semis.
Yes I know.. But it would be the perfect final.

But knowing Selby he would have probably beat Robbo here just so he could face Ronnie again in another Final.
True, Selby never loses a semi if Ronnie is waiting in the final.

Screwing up position is his middle name
To his credit though, he often keeps breaks going with good pots after losing position.
There was time where he often broke down around the 40,50 mark due to losin position, and often he had to play safe cause he did,nt even have a pot on and often in that very phase, some,(mainly real ronnie fan boyz) were moaning bout him being negative.

So correct me if I'm wrong, Liang climbs to 16th place right?
If he were to somehow win tomorrow, how many more places would he climb in the rankings?

And Michael White misses The Masters. This guy is so unlucky (but he should have won at least one match in this tournament to avoid it).

As long as he avoids the whitewash, I'm satisfied. That's not asking too much is it?

Colours are awkward now, but reds are open and something will eventually end up on blue and pink spots at least.
But another positional mistake...

Safety is easier now with some baulk colours to hide behind. No need to rely on length alone.

Not fussed about the whitewash. 6-1 is just as 6-0. As is 6-5 for that matter.

Yes.
Last month he suffered a 4-0 defeat to Ryan Day in Bulgaria, but it was a PTC (if it counts).

I told you above. I also remember Gilbert whitewashing him in 2014 Players Grand Final (a best of 7 again, though).
