If this is anything like their Grand Prix 09 semi, we are in for a treat. But sometimes it doesn't turn out that way and turns out to be one sided. Hope not.

Great start Higgins. Century no 600 apparently
Of course the last Scot who made a century against Robbo didn't fare that well...

Remember not so long ago when Higgins was struggling and kept trying different cues and changing his cue action?
His cue action looks good now, a bit shorter than it used to be. His hand is a bit closer to the cue ball. Ronnie was talking about how he thinks Luca Brecel should put his bridging hand closer to the cue ball as well... Little things like that can change a lot.
Vintage Higgins so far.

For all my defense of the four table set up, atmosphere is always better at this stage than before.

Absolutely Holden.
MDG said it yesterday, winning Welsh Open opened a door for him and he's never looked back since.

I always enjoy watching Higgins when he plays well. Great cue action, great stance, great matchplay, great bottle... A masterclass in snooker. Same with Ronnie and Steve Davis.

It's a blatant free ball. What's with all the deliberation?

Most players don't know how to properly apply the rules, not even the top ones.
