Robertson found a new trick. Now he's bringing moths to the arena to disturb his opponent...

*MOTH ATTACK*!!.
Jan gets rid of it on his 2nd attempt.
Higgins flukes the brown, but still needs 2 snookers to win,1 to tie.

A fluked escape on the blue,as Hazel puts it after John layed a crackin snooker, helps Robbo not lose that frame.

Higgins could only tie the frame though had he got that snooker.
he needed a foul of 6 or 7 to win that.
But yeah it was a fluke no doubt.

John gets the first chance in this 3rd frame,a long red,but misses, leaves nuthin on though.
Two shots later,he takes on a difficult red but misses it by a mile, leaves Robbo an easy opener to the middle.

I think it's amazing that Ronnie has made almost 200 more centuries than Higgins in his career. They both turned pro in the same year and Higgins has played a lot more matches than Ronnie. More proof Ronnie's the greatest breakbuilder ever.

Only Ding or most likely Trump can catch him if they keep making 60 or 70 tons per season.
But yeah Ronnie is the greatest no doubt about it.

He'll say it's boring stuff, he would have prefered some tactical play.

These two matches are particularly fascinating. Wish I could have the time and opportunity to watch at least two frames; I haven't even finished a single UK Championship match yet.

The second frame had everything. Some nice breakbuilding, some terrible positional shots, on the edge refereeing decision, a fluked pot and fluked snooker escape at deciding moments, insect hunting...
Looks like it's gonna be a great afternoon session on both tables.
