Selby was 5-3 behind in this year's German Masters final too.

Should have been 4-4. Reminds me of the wuxi final between robbo and higgins where higgins also led 5-1 but lost it in the end.
yeah MDG very good example.
I hope the outcome is the same then, but my hopes aren't too high, Higgins looks very strong and seems like he'll win this.
But a Selby classic comeback is always an option, I hope...

if memory serves me right last time Selby lost a match 9-3 was against Ronnie at 2009 UK Champs...
Good old times
But here I obviously want a classic comeback from him...

Who knows... maybe Gilbert can beat him...
Who'd have thought Kyren Wilson had a realistic chance against Judd at Shanghai Masters?
Stranger results have happened... but looks very unlikely.

Selby could do with starting one of his comebacks now. 7-5 at the MSI needed.

Pathetic performance from Selby so far. He should be ashamed of himself.

Another great clearance from Higgins and it's 8-3. Doesn't look like there's going to be a comeback...

If John Higgins wins IC (very likely now), could he claim his 5th world title next spring?
Discuss.

Not sure if his consistency is up to the long multisession matches one after another. We'll see how consistent he is this season.

Yes he's in contention.
As a SnookerFan (nuetral) in this match, I really hope Selbs gets his sh*t together

I'm not going think Selby has a chance until it gets to at least 8-6.
