Sunday 25th of October~Sunday 1st of November at the Baihu Media Broadcasting Centre, Daqing, China

So it's down to the Last 32 stage, and the biggest surprise by far has to come from local player Yu Delu who beat the World Champion by a ver confortable scoreline 6-2.

Still in the draw are some local players who will try their hardest to give their fans something to cheer about, with the likes of Tian Pengfei, Liang Wenbo, Zhou Yuelong, Yu Delu and of course China's number 1, Ding Junhui, who appears to be finding his best form just as the right time.

We have also World Champions in the mix, with Mark Williams, Mark Selby, Graeme Dott, Peter Ebdon, Shaun Murphy, and 4 time World Champion John Higgins, as well as 2010 World Champ Neil Robertson who will cerainly try his best to improve his very shakey start to the season.

Who shall reach the Last 16 and move one step closer to the £125,000 top prize?

If you call winning one match against Martin O'Donnell "finding some form" then your expectations of Robbo are really low right now...

But yes he needs to start getting good results, a good run here, say Quarters or Semis, will certainly boost his confidence.

I'm hoping Ding wins this event again, he has a LOT of money to defend this season.

For some reason I fancy a player from outside the top 16 to win the tournament this week. - Just a gut feeling with the surprising results we've seen so far - (that's even with the rather strong bottom third of the draw)

These events in China, it's a joke that they get no fans. This tournament is supposed to be a major.

In Germany, they pack the house out whenever snooker is on. In China there's sometimes more people at the table than there is in the 'crowd'.

Yeah,he does resemble Ali.

Those BIG blue seats they have for the players look verrrry comfy and the blue carpet looks verrrry suave and come to think of it,the cloth of the snooker table looks verrry green. :-D
