Extremely poor game between Drago-Muir.... One old who has losed his skills, and one totally untalented guy. Both had easy opportunities and missed them brutally.
Bad tactic from Muir to not play safer in lead and have better temperament than Drago.

Jimmy White beats Ollie Lines! Crazy as it may sound, but that's a good win for Jimmy!

Muir should have been 4-0 up if he played better in frame 2 where he lead and had big chances.

I'm not disappointed in fairness, it's up to these youngsters to beat has beens like Jimmy, and by all acounts Jimmy played well to beat him, so fair play to him, the better player won.
But I see where you're getting from, the young players should be beating them and all that...

I'm not fussed either way about retiring Jimmy, but It's disappointing that there aren't really any players that are consistently doing better. Only Mike White, is heading that way, but with everyone else it seems like for every good performance they throw in two or three bad ones at least.

Many of this young players are not good, and they don´t look wanna be better either.
Look on Jack Lisowski, plays bad and don´t look ambitious.
It is bad for the sport with these old mens playing poor and the young playing poor too.

Same about Wakelin vs Bond. Wakelin should play good enough to win that game, now he is 0-1 and on his way to 0-2...

Bond's lead is well deserved. Who cares if veterans are beating youngsters. It's impressive that players like Nigel Bond are still competing in this era, and he can still play a good match on his day. Bond was a much better player than Chris Wakelin will ever be anyway.
