So I came across a link to Sky's Coverage of the British Open 1996 final on Sky Sports here.

Phillip "keep me in front of the camera" Schofield presented some weird 10-ball version of snooker in the 90's, with a game show style TV production

Yeah, I've heard about that. Never watched it.
I have a feeling that was up on YouTube as well, at some point.
