Alex Borg seems to be the ultimate yo-yo professional. I believe he has been relegated six times form the circuit now, but keeps coming back for more.

Remarkable to be able to get on it 6 times - presuming it was Q-School in the past

The draw for these three events is out.
Only 12 places up for grabs for the 202 participants, 17 of which are professionals relegated this season.
Alex Borg has a pretty tough draw in all three it has to be said.
Zhao Xintong has the following:
QS1 v Oliver Brown
QS2 v Clayton Humphries
QS3 v Shafaqut Hussain or Keith Keldie
Looking forward to CV's full preview of these events.

Shane Castle is there, was entered as Geoffrey Castle in the original list.
2 of the Iranians out, only Mohammadali Pordel remaining who looks more of a pool player, hasn't really played international snooker.

Shame about the Iranians - probably visa issues?
Fergal Quinn (assuming wouldn't have visa issues with that name) but presumably something in his private life. A financial blow if he doesn't get his money back. I believe he must have pulled out too late as he was entered in the draw whereas the Iranians aren't listed as walkovers.

Iran is hosting the Asian championship from May 6-12 so that could be the reason for the pullouts from the Iran cuests, much easier to qualify from that than from the Q School.

That may be the reason, but you can no longer qualify by winning the event since World Snooker's not affiliated with ACBS anymore.

It's that time of the year - time to make predictions for the Q School!
Last year I got one qualifier right (Ashley Hugill) plus one through Order of Merit (Zhang Yong). This year I hope to get at least two right since there are 12 places up for grabs.
Following players will earn a tour card for 2018-20:Jak Jones
Zhao Xintong
Kuldesh Johal
Sam Craigie
Hammad Miah
Adam Duffy
Fang Xiongman
Oliver Brown
Hu Hao
Mateusz Baranowski
Andy Hicks
Mitchell Mann

When Sam Baird qualified in 2012 through Q School he went through the field without breaking sweat he did not concede a frame in 5 matches
