This is the business end now! A win tonight and they play a morning-shoot for a two-year tour card.

Re: Q School 2015

Postby Vallomas

It's a pity that Reanne wasn't able to reach the final eight. This Israeli player (Ruberg) looks interesting, too.

Re: Q School 2015

Zhao is losing :-(

Edit: Does a 133 century break to be only one behind. Hopefully he accomplishes the comeback and wins.

I'm a little surprised only two Engilsh players made it last 8. I'm quite happy to have predicted three of the eight players right (and close to getting five if Zhao and Davies hadn't lost their deciders).

No big surprises among the players though. Five ex-pros and three very talented youngsters, anyone deserves to qualify in my opinion <ok> Anxious to see who can make it!

Tuesday 19th of May

10am

Sydney Wilson v Chen Zhe
Sydney Wilson has played Chen Zhe once before back in 2012 Q School and on that occasion Chen Zhe beat Sydney 4-3 in the last 32 to earn his 1st spell on tour can he do it again this time in the final match

Daniel Wells v Alexander Ursenbacher
Wells and Ursenbacker have never played before but both have played on the main tour

Wells has had 2 stints on tour he turned pro for the first time in 2008/2009 and has spent 5 seasons on tour reaching a career high ranking of 70 in 2009/2010.

Ursenbacker though has only managed to win 4 matches in his 2 seasons on tour hopefully if he gets back on things will be better.

Adam Duffy v Eden Sharav
In the 3 Q School events hes played in so far Eden Sharav has reached the final match can it be 3rd time lucky?

Duffy spent 3 seasons on tour between 2011/2012 and 2013/2014 seasons reaching a career high ranking of 58.

the one time they have played before Eden Sharav won 4-1 in 2011 PTC 1 at the World Snooker Academy in Sheffield.

Rhys Clark v Leo Fernandez
Leo Fernandez has spent 10 years on tour between 1995/1996 and 2007/2008 and reached the Crucible in 1999 losing 10-3 to Ronnie O'Sullivan he entered Q School last year winning just 1 match. things has got better this time.

Rhys Clark is under the radar in many ways but this season in the Indian Open he beat Kurt Maflin 4-3 in the last 128 and Pankaj Advani 4-3 in the wildcard round before losing 4-2 to former Q School Graduate Chris Wakelin in the last 64.
