The PTCs is a way in so all hope not lost. Plus with more and more global expansion I can see the professional rank numbers increasing above 100 in years to come so Zhanger and others need not be too down on themselves although obviously this current last chance will leave those who don't make it totally gutted.

id like them to increase the PTC Qualifying spots say top 8 on the PTC thats not in the the top 64 and then Top 4 AMATEUR Players and get rid of some of these nominations.

I thought Hearn decided last night that best of 7's were too long, and ordered these matches to be best of 5's.

I did not think Taylor would beat Gilbert. Gilbert has by far the more solid game.

Yes Gilbert should never have fallen off the tour in the first place. Plus he's reached the last stage of the first two Q School events so you have to say he is rightfully back on tour.

http://www.worldsnooker.com/page/NewsAr ... 13,00.html"In the last couple of years I've had a terrible attitude and taken snooker for granted. I hardly practised and I didn't enter the EPTC events so I put myself in the position of dropping off the tour. I realise now how much I love snooker and I want to give it a proper go. I'm going to enter all of the events, and the way the rankings work now, you can see yourself making progress within the season.
"I've worked for my dad in the past - even when I was in the top 48 I was working and only practising snooker two hours a week, when others were doing ten hours a day. I'm going to knock the work on the head now and put everything into snooker."
that pretty much explains why he was in Q School.

Great to see three debutants. Also delighted to see Hull, Gilbert & Morris getting through this school, having seen all three player I can say that they're quality players.

Yes i think there's a good mix there but there are quality left behind in q school but you cant have more through what i will say there might have been worst players that got wild cards prior to the Q School and others that got on via their own nomination process.
