I believe as per last year, the winner of the U21's and main championship will win tour cards.
Not tour card events but Vladislav Gradinari wins the U16's and is through to the quarters of the U18's

Ineed they do! U21 and U18 champions also get invites to this years World Championship (though I don't understand why the Main Championship winner doesn't
)

Very strong Finnish contribution in this tournament with 6 participants. Of course the main Finnish contender is Robin Hull. It is a shame Heikki Niva is not entering.
Also entering is Daniel Kandi, the trance producer/DJ.

European Snooker Championships - U18 Final: Bulcsú Révész 4 v Vladislav Gradinari 0.
Young hungarian Bulcsú continued his success in junior competitions. First he won WSF World Junior Championship and now he is under 18 European Champion.

Defending champion too.
Worth mentioning good performance of Artemijs Zizins - high break 138 and semi finalist (lost to Révész).

Only just spotted that the Mohammed Shehab v Chang Yu Kiu referee is Natalia Gradinari, mother of new Under 16 European Champion Vladislav Gradinari.

Not much time for Liam Davies and Iulian Boiko to regroup and go again for their next tilt at a tour card. Both start their U21 European groups tomorrow morning

Yorrit Hoes is coincidentally how us Northerners greet the women when we enter a brothel (or so I've heard).

Artemijs Zizins 4 v Iulian Boiko 2.
What a match from amateurs. Artemijs made the tournament high break of 142 and each player made several 50+ breaks. Great standard all around, no bad misses and safety play was decent.

Men's Group B
Robin Hull 3 v Viktors Jengovatovs 0.
Great start for Robin in terms of result. Robin showed some great potting but still had many misses and left his opponent many chances. However Viktors was just lost today, he potted some good balls but more often than not missed shots by a country mile.

Antoni Kowalski or Liam Davies who ever wins today, Match starting at 1pm UK Time will be a New Professional for 2024/25 and 25/26 Liam seems to be there so often 2nd in Q Tour Rankings Michael Holt got on Tour and Runner Up in Q Tour Global and Duane Jones got on Tour is it 3rd time lucky?
Its nice to know the UK still producing good young players.

A 43 from Kowalski in the 2nd frame. Davies in, plenty of points available, opens the remaining reds but has to play safe after a break of 3.

Kowalski plays the low blue in and out of baulk with running side round the angles into the pack, skims the reds, ends up on baulk, gives a thumbs-up to the white.
Within two shots he’s back in business
But then bungkes.

61 break from Liam in the 4th, 37 up with 51 on, plays defensively and puts the brown safe. Kowalski moves the brown with one visit, then at the next pots a long red but misses the yellow.
Both reds near cushions, safety battle commences.
