yes definitely a step in the right direction - reminds me of darts challenge and development tours this is kind of those wrapped into one.

UK/Europe: OOM winner qualifies for Two-Year Tour-Card! Players ranked 2nd-19th qualify for QTour Global Playoffs.

And as predicted, Sarkhosh wins Event 1 with a 4-0 win in the final!

Sarkhosh wins event 2 but was made to work for it in the final. Won 4-3 from 3-0 down.

Americas Event 1 this weekend in Toronto. Event 2 in San Jose during 22/25 Feb. Winner of each event qualifies for QTour Global playoff as the event in Brazil will no longer take place

I like the idea but they rarely bother entering tournaments or have visa issues and end up getting replaced in the draws by Barry Pinches, Rory McLeod's etc...
