Good to see Rory Thor Chuan Leong back on tour, certainly outplayed Lei Peifan to qualify. But rather sorry for Lei Peifan - but at least he opens with a Round 2 match for his next shot. Different half of the draw to Jeffrey Roda who I'd also like to see with a crack at the Tour, so maybe pulling for both of them (I'll be a bit torn if last years World Games gold medalist Cheung Ka Wai doesn't get through today on first attempt).

hope he makes it having lost out in the final match in Q1.

Alfie has had chances on the tour and retired. Time for some younger blood. So Alfie will probably win...

At least Dean Young is young only 21 but Burden retired a few years back and since then got through Q School not once but twice.

Doesn't Work like that Hendry has got a Card if he doesn't take it anybody has it. Stephen not taking the place of a young player.

Q SCHOOL ORDER OF MERIT 2021 (JUNIORS) (8)
As part of the WPBSA’s commitment to developing the next generation of professional players,
eight players at each event will be reserved for the world’s leading junior talent. These players
must be aged under-21 at the start of Q School.
The highest ranked eligible players on the 2021 Q School Order of Merit, not already qualified, will
be invited to compete in Q Tour events.
Each of these players will be required to commit to Q Tour and enter ALL four events at the start of
the season.

Yea Gutted but that what can happen, don't understand why the OOM is not used rather than Semi Finalists. play down to the semi finals like in asia then the rest from the order of merit

Great info thanks!

So presuming they apply the same rules, and mainly using the ages on snooker.org or cuetracker I think the eight offered this first would be:

Bai Yulu (China), Antoni Kowalski (Poland), Liam Davies (Wales), Jamie Wilson (England), Bulcsu Revesz (Hungary), Vladislav Gradinari (Moldova), Oliver Sykes (England), Paul Deaville (England).

Don't know if age might be an issue with in particular Gradinari, who is 14.
