Her 127 was a record for the Women's World Championship. Her 142 in the CBSA Tour Qualifiers was the record by a woman in competition.

Hefty increase in number of entrants compared with 2022 coupled with reduction in qualifying tickets from 12 to eight. Not the easiest QSchool to navigate.

Rhys Clark is one of the more intriguing entrants. The now 28 year old qualified to become a pro in his fourth year of Q School in 2015. He retained his pro spot in 2017 through the one-year ranking list, but barely played in the 2018-19 season and has not been seen on the baize since, as far as I know. If memory serves, he quit snooker in favour of modelling, though I may be confusing him with someone else.

Among the more familiar names on this list, Andrew Doherty jumps out as a surprise. The 27 year old has only entered Q School once, 4 year ago, but won 6 of his 9 matches. He could be one to watch.

I met him before he quit, along with one of the other young Scottish professionals at the time. They
weren't sure if they could enter the World Championship, for financial reasons. As we now know, it's a common problem, not just for young players.

Of course, Vahedi and Cheung qualify for the Asia/Oceania Q School. The closing date for entry is 15th May, and they are saying they will try to make the draw as soon as possible.

Jamie Wilson looks totally different from when he was on tour. He was young before, but blimey. Really wondering if it's the same person

The plot thickens, by the scoring, Wilson/Judin is the only 4-1 finish so far! Are you watching last years?!

Well, on Migu, Andre is reffing on tables 1 and 6. It's the same stream with different scoreboards.
Tech issues, very unusual on snooker streams
