Not advertised for broadcast on Migu.
And not on the WST calendar, so not much info around about the players.
Hopefully I'll be able to find a site showing it after work today.

Seems Luo Honghao may have withdrawn. He's listed on snooker.org as being a walkover.

Yes, VISA. A big blow to this event and a disaster for Luo's career.

I'm surprised he's not been able to get a visa for Thailand. Would be interested to know if it was him or the authorities who messed up.

Is there any chance that this will be resolved in Luo Honghao's favour in time for the second event?

Disappointing about Luo Honghao. Something has gone wrong with this Q School if only one Chinese player has entered (and isn't even able to take part) and no players from Oceania.
I hope the players who qualify do at least enter most tournaments on the tour next season.

Funny that you can only legally watch the English Q School in China, and China is the only place (probably) that you can't legally watch the Asian Q School.

I've been watching a bit of Lkhagvasuren Tumurchudur.
Not a sentence I ever imagined uttering.

Couldn't say to be honest, I only watched 15 minutes then went for a foot massage. He made a 20 break before losing position, and played some decent safeties.
So not a complete no hoper, but remains to be seen if he's anywhere near pro standard.

I've been watching the last couple of matches of the day since I got home. These 4 are all terrible. If any of them get close to qualifying, consider my eyebrows raised.

Weirdly, Morteza Torabi is wearing a mask over his chin. That makes no sense at all.
Maybe he prefers his cue running through the mask rather than his skin/beard?

I'm not saying I'd win a frame, but I could easily give any of these four guys a decent game.

Masks are a thing of a past now thank god a hospital in our area has ditched them too less and less people wearing them and the people that are wearing them look like sausage Heads.

Thor, Poomjaeng, Tirapong and Akbar all in the same half of the draw. I don’t recognise anyone else in the field as having been on tour before.
Hopefully whoever gets through has no Visa issues and can commit to a full schedule.
