Takantong takes a marathon first frame.
Worse than club standard so far.

Good 61 from Poomjaeng in frame 4. He's starting to find his groove.

He played well in the last couple of frames. Looked like a pro.
I hope he goes to England and plays.

Good to have Poomjaeng back. What a character!
Thailand will be very strong next season with Noppon, Theppy, Poom, TT and possibly Kritsanut.

Kritsanut 2-0 up and a class above Jain. Jain's had a lot of the run in this third frame, and countless chances to take it, but he's having a Barry Crocker.
There's no hope for Jain if the score goes to 3-0.

Correct. It's a pity that Akani has been relegated though.

Is it too late for Akani to marry Andre, get Portuguese citizenship, enter and win the EBSA?

Even in jest, that might be the wildest suggestion made on this site, among tough opposition for that title

Yes, there will be a lot of players not on tour next season who are much better than some who are.
From Sunny Akani's social media, it may be we don't see him again, certainly not for this season.

Himanshu has a tactical and safety game and likes setting snookers. Cue ball control and break building needs to improve

Yes I hope he feels better soon.
An obviously dedicated player, a break might be what he needs and then to start afresh. See he must have turned down an invite for the championship league.

Well he's rejected a top-up offer and Q Tour entry. He got married last year and is considering his future.

Yes, he plays a lot of billiards. But scoring is so important in professional snooker, he would really struggle. However, these Q Schools are so tense, a tactical approach works well.

Just watched the decider of the second final.
Kritsanut missed a quite simple pink for that level when he was 42-0 ahead and after a while he played a horrendous safety shot that left an easy starter to Jain.
Jain scored 38 from there, with a highlight positional shot at 21-42 (he managed to free two reds from the pink after potting a blue). One more poor positional shot by the Thai after a short tactical battle, gave the chance to the Hindu to pot the final red from a tricky position and then to clear the table.
It wasn't an easy clearance by any means. Especially the shot on the brown and from blue to the pink were really hard under the circumstances.
