Thank you! It threw me that this took place before the play offs of the previous edition!

Well done Igor

Middle East Q Tour 1 starts Tuesday. Host nation of Bahrain is well represented with the the rest of the field mostly made up of Iraqis, Kuwaitis, Egyptians, Libyans, a Turk and a player from the UAE.

Who will put themselves in a good position before some of the failed Asia q schoolers presumably enter the other events?

Zhao Xintong has entered Event 2.

Hard to believe Zhao Xintong won the German Masters in 2022 beating both Mark Williams and Judd Trump on Route then was suspended from WST and has lost his pro status for obvious reasons, but today he starts his comeback to the pro ranks playing Vilius Schulte-Ebbert of Lithuania at about 11am BST

Russian Arsenii Korolev was drawn against Ukrainian opponents in the two qualifying rounds. They have both withdrawn, giving him a bye through to the first round, where he plays another Ukrainian, Iulian Boiko.
It'll be interesting to see if Boiko plays or withdraws.

Is there any way of watching this?
