Oh no...
So this event yet again has been brought up by World Snooker... there was a time when this event made full sense, but the last 2 or 3 seasons it clearly is just a "paid practice" event, with only the winner getting a place at the CoC. This money should really be used to distribute to other events like PTCs for instance in order to increase their prize money...

It is what it is. "This money" probably wouldn't exist if the CL didn't. I have no problem with it apart from the fact there is incentive to lose

Totally Pointless Event.
snooker could really do without this crap.
Really cant understand Bookmakers Backing a event where players can gain from losing. this event was made for cheating players.

When it first came about it was great because it was so rare to see top players in action that even matches that don't matter were better than nothing. But yes, you're right, it is totally pointless. I won't be following it.
