Strange match this is. Gould is 2-1 ahead, but he's not playing particularly well.

The Problem that has blighted Murphy's career and the reason hes not won as much as he should have is evident in this Match.


He keeps breaking down on 50 instead of kicking on to finish frames off

3-1 for Gould, who have stolen all the frames on the final black. Amazing! Murphy is in danger now.

Shaun was not at his best, but Gould was supreme. His long pots were as smooth as silk

Bottom line is Snooker players are spoilt these days with conditions if things are slightly off and Humidity and atmospheric conditions are a factor (buck knows what World Snooker can do about the weather) they get in to a strop.

i bet Ray Reardon would have preferred to play on these Tables than the ones he was playing on in the 70s.
