It's strange that Perry received no trophy for winning the tournament. It didn't occur to me that he didn't get one until I saw Williams mention it on Twitter.

That top 16 makes reasonable sense. It's not like anyone has come close to dominating this season. Plus it doesn't take into account Masters, CoC or the Grand Prix.

A good stat from that article is that this was the first final to feature two 40+ players...for (ironically) 40 years!
It's also quite amazing that all 9 rankers have been won by different players. If you include the Masters, as it's a 'major', then it's 10 players from the 10 events!!
