Yes, considerably overmatched was Trump.
Selt is no Rigsby, and was never going to let him back in the match. .

This win was a statement. Ronnie will consider this a warning...

Selt will say after an 18-0 crushing by Rigsby "When Ronnie went 3-0 up, I knew he would beat me 18-0".

The women of Lisbon will be throwing their knickers at Selt after Selt claims the title tonight. They will all want to personally sample his cue action!

I predict Selty will make four 147s in his next match. 'When I got the first one, I knew I was going to get three more'

Mags wins 4-0 with a 93% pot success. Will have to play A LOT better to have a glimmer of hope against Selt.

Barring snookers, Selt has it 4-1.
Can Maguire stop this juggernaut?

He's teasing Barry just to crush his dreams shortly after.

And Hakwins makes it 2-3. Selt obviously is tired of crushing his opponents and is letting Barry back in for kicks. Will obviously let him get to a decider and then close it out with a max.

And Selt promptly closes it out, 4-2.
In all seriousness, Selt has done well this tournament, beating some good players (Dott, Day, Trump and now Hawkins) and he hasn't been taken to a decider once.
Hope Mags beats him though.

Do you think his shameful and silly showing against Ronnie last week has given him a metaphorical kick up the bum?

The honor of playing on the same table with (obviously not against) Ronnie inspired him to excel.
