Why is Murphy still not playing? There is a table available.

I assume it will be because he is scheduled for the TV table and so will have to wait for MJW and Ford to finish.

Looks like Kacper Filipiak will beat Gerard Greene 4-2.
Must be the first time he's beaten a pro.

Nice, it is, if you don't count that he beat TT at the 6 red.

Higgins v Fu at 14:45 - should be a cracking form-gazing match for those of us looking at the UK.
Fu was definitely in better form at the IC but can Higgins find something good at the right time?
Also, is ski jumping really that popular in mainland Europe, and I'm sure I keep being told the British are still European anyway?

It's only for ten minutes, a few years ago we'd be going months without live snooker. So STFU a bow down to hearn.

That long red from Fu should not have gone in. We can thank Hearn for these buckets.

Higgins had 2 chances in the entire match. Maybe higgins of 06-11 would have took them, but Fu was on another level and clearly had the support of the Ruhr snooker gods.
Isn't Filipiak an amateur?

Very nice to see MJW back playing well again
He can definately win another PTC or who knows, another ranker if he carries the good form.

Not in a situation where he's literally had no chances. There's two reasons you can't pot a ball in a match, you aren't capable of your opponent is too capable.
If you watched the match you would realise that this is a case of the latter. If Fu's in that form at the UK expect a QF or SF run.

I won't discredit what Fu did against Higgins, he must have played very well, but still not to pot a ball..
