Strangely enough if a player did a 147 and then another player did a 150 for instance only the player with the 147 would receive the highest break prize.
I think it would have to be a 155 for him to receive it.

We may never see a 155 for the next 50 years I think... Jamie Burnett is the only player with a break over 147, 148 at UK qualifiers 2004.

Didn't see it but I guess he took the yellow with his free-ball and a few low value colours in the rest of the break.

Murphy even said he had 2 other chances yesterday for a 147...
Imagine if he had got all 5 of them
Anyway, he got it, and that's what matters, the only player to make three 147s on same year, plus he wins 2 consecutive PTC titles.
