It is hendry_fan, and given his situation in the money ranking every win is important for him, because a win in a PTC match at the end of the season may well mean he's either in or out of the tour, and even if he were to drop out he would have a wildcard from Hearn, but I'm glad he's just hanging in there and you can see he still enjoys playing and that's the main thing really.

Filipiak and McManus locked in a real battle, the young Polish player was 3 nil down but then forced the decider. They are now on the colours on the green, Angles leading.

Filipiak another disappointment after some of his heroics at that Doubles tournament in Thailand a few years ago. I think the pressure of being tipped by many top players, Ronnie included, that he would become a great player was a bit too much for him.

He'll play Cahill next, with a good chance to make it to Sunday. It's nice seeing Jimmy play well like he did against Wilson today.

Great chance for Cahill too

Never said it wasn't, but I'm rooting for Jimmy anyway.

Needs to start winning the the flat 128 ranking matches though.

Exactly, and start beating on a regular basis the likes of Ricky Walden, Mark Davis, Dale, those sort of players. That's his only chance of really improving in the rankings and make himself some sort of "scary" player for the top players.

Jimmy. :hatoff:

You can tell how much he still loves playing. As you said, it doesn't really matter if Jimmy falls off the tour as he is one of those that will defo take up Hearn's wildcard. He will play to a hundred years old as long the wildcard is there.

If the man still loves playing, then why shouldnt he play until he so desires? Even if it is crappy snooker at times, it's far from making a fool of himself, that's only for those who didn't know how good Jimmy was. Long may Jimmy continue playing, hopefully with a few more years on the tour and not via a wildcard.

Well said.

If you talked to Jimmy even now, I'm sure he'd tell you he still has a world title in him.

Ever the optimist, Jimmy deserves whatever he gets out of the game. Nobody can begrudge him that.

i find all this crap a bit embarrassing my self.. its 2014 for buck sakes and fans wants fossils still around jesus christ i was hoping hendry would retire 5+ years ago and thank god he did nothing worst than seeing past greats playing rubbish and reaching last 16 is seeing as a good tournament.
