It would be awesome if Bingham was the one breaking the Crucible curse.

This is just freaking unreal
like gary anderson this year. Murphy choked big time. Wont win any wc. Had a dream draw but choked when it mattered. The 31th frame will follow him forever

Considering the one who got the closest was the one off Joe Johnson, could happen.

Apart from a little wobble tonight since O'sullivan's cannon on the last red in frame 16 didn't quite work out Bingham has been magnificent. So happy for him.
Don't understand the dislike for Murphy he seems like a sport and a gentleman.

Great to see Bingham win the title, the annoying part is it means he'll be in the commentary box in ten years time with O'Sullivan - one essex accent is bad enough.
The talk of Bingham being the one to break the crucible curse is absolute marmite with all due respect there is more chance of Pol Pot, Idi Amin, Ghenghis Khan, Stalin, Gadaffi and Hitler being awarded posthumous nobel peace prices next year than Bingham winning another World Title, let alone the 2016 one.
