I like Zhang, nice composed player, looks to have a bit about him. Maflin has a bit of panache, like to see someone who won't be cannon fodder making the main stage.

I'm glad Wendy is gone. Hate his style of play. It's like watching someone rubbish on snooker.

Yeah he did, he also lost to Stevens in 2010 if I'm not mistaken on last black. He's the player with most losses on Final qualifying round for World Champs. Not a good record to have, but I'm very happy Maflin went through.

dissappointed for fergal, i know his manager well and he'll be gutted to have missed out , anyway with ken, joe and fergal, ill be hoping mark allen has a good run !!
