A 'thread' has been started on this topic - but just one reply! Not sure if the 'illness' was a red-herring. It seems that she had a dispute over an unpaid 'bonus' and as a consequence, has resigned from refereeing World Snooker events. She'll continue on the 'seniors' exhibition circuit and pool competitions, but it's a loss for snooker as she was a competent ref and well respected.

Yeah, Snookerbacker said something about it being a financial issue.
Just rumours, I think. Though it is telling that no party has said why she resigned. Barry Hearn even tweeted he had 'absolutely no comment' on why she had left.
