Even if Ben had leveled at 4-4 Higgins would still win this title, the only major diference would be the Final result could have been diferent, say 9-6 for example.

That's your favourite words...
you always say that...
Usually when I forget to say it, the other player starts getting snookers back.
That's a pretty powerful gift to have

Because MDG would panic and post every time Ronnie didn't pot a ball cleanly or messed up position?

This got to be John Higgins's easiest final since he played Billy Snaddon in the 1999 China International.

Carlsberg don't make snooker players, but if they did they would have made John Higgins....
John Higgins..... Probably the best snooker player in the world.....

And Higgins wins 9-3. Not been his best this final but maybe winning will inspire him to play better for the season.
Good to see him play well, he was part of the reason I got into snooker.

Johns lack of celebration shows what little effort he had to put into winning that.

Put Higgins up to 12th in the rankings, meaning he's seeded to face Hawkins at the Worlds right now.
The way he's been playing, Higgins has half a chance there...

Finals like this are all Hearn's fault. Too much tampering, shortening the rounds from best of 9s to 7s and the 128 format has killed this tournament.
