This must be the unlikeliest tournament I have seen so far. Every favourite loses at some point. Even PTCs seem more predictable... 'Grats to Gary Wilson already for winning the tournament

Anyway, vintage MJW that was, 2000-2003 MJW right there

Despite MJWs inconsistency these days with good performances, I very much his form will suddenly fall apart in his semi, especially since this is his home event, and playing either Woolaston or Wilson, I think MJW has this Final in the bag.

It remains to be seen who he'll face.

As I said I would love if it were Luca, if not then Higgins can make the Final, as long as he doesnt win it

Would be a body blow for MJW to lose in a Final again to Higgins, especially here in Wales.

Higgins isnt imune to losing Finals, and if he faces MJW I make MJW favourite to win it I have no doubts about it.

Last season only a handful of players won all the titles. The top 4 Ronnie, Selby, Ding and Robbo took all the glory.

This season it's a lot more balanced with a many different players winning titles. Very similar to 2012/13 and 2011/12.

Depedning on how Walden plays tonight though, if he beats Luca I think I would make Walden favourite to beat Higgins aswell.

This semi-final Higgins has had is very misleading, so far he's had an easy draw, and despite having to face Mags, Higgins was lucky Mags played one of his worst matches I've seen.

We have yet to see Higgins in top form, he did play well against Wenbo by all acounts though.

Yes that's right, forgot MJW reached the semis there when he lost to Judd.
