If Stevens doesn't twitch, looks good for him now.
If.

Ronnie fans won't like me saying it but these are the sorts of tournaments that creep in when a player is in decline and they just can fire the cylinders like they would have years ago, put it this way Ronnie is unlikely to threaten the latter stages of the World Championships this year,
decline my foot. he won two majors this season. he is feeling distracted. if he has season like higgins the last 3 years then we can talk about it
Just one major? UK and he didn't play great throughout that.
Not sure what other reason there can be as more match practise=/=worse consistency.

So about that missed pink that cost him the world championships, anyone reckon it's mentally haunting him and that's the cause of his steady decline this season?

Stevens could get a 17 frame head start in The Crucible final, and still lose.

Looks like Woollaston has beaten Allen in the decider, his first win against him. Faces Carter next.

O'Sullivan playing a completely ridiculously loose safety shot. The sort that a player meant to be as good as him just wouldn't play.

Well played Matt. He deserves to beat Ronnie at least once after all these years.

Georgiou 1-0 up on Dott.
Ronnie's persistent decline continues. He's not even made a ton this week and has just been complete tosh. This isn't the sign of a player whose going to win a world championship this year.
Ronnie's age is finally catching up with him and his fans will have to stop pretending he's going to be playing immortally at the standard he played to win his WCs.

Weird. ROS looked focused at first, if annoyed by a photographer, but increasingly looked like he didn't care after he missed that yellow at 3-2.

He made a ton against Rory. But he is more inconsistent than he was last season.
