MJW c Luca should have been streamed in this session, can't believe it hasn't
Anyway, some good matches in this qualifiers, seen they decided to do the first 2 rounds here, to avoid having 64 players at Tempodrom like last year which didn't really work well, things seemed very rushed in there starting play on Wednesday.
It's much better having just 32 players in there, that way we'll only have 5 tables at same time just like it was back in 2011 and 2012, so much better and the German fans definately deserve it to be like that. Of course there's always a chance that one if not more of the big names don't make it to the venue, but like I said this is better than having 64 players in there like last year which didnt work.

Igor
Like it has been said here, it's nothing short of remarkable what this guy has done having so little competition by beating experienced and well played players like Maflin
A shame those financial and sponsor problems prevent him from progressing, but he really is a cracking player and talent.

If Barry is serious about opening up Brazil and South America to snooker he should take it upon himself to personally try and find a sponsor for Igor.
That shouldn't be a problem with all his contacts. Around 20k is all that is required.

Or they could fix the problem in general, the prize money favors the winners way too much in expense of everyone else. Robin Hull is another player who cannot play many of the tournaments because it is too expensive to be a professional snooker player. "Professional" sport, yeah...
Cannonball made a very good argument about that in another thread. And Cannonball does not make a good argument often

Why on earth isn't this match streamed? Only snooker enthusiasts care about these qualifying matches so they should know that most fans would prefer this match over a Murphy walkover
