Robbo vs Ronnie = Wicked match.
Ali vs Ronnie = Ali has less chance of winning than that girl with red hair in the crowd.
Maybe his change in perspective in life will mean he's not terrified of ROS anymore. But it's one thing to believe you can beat ROS and another thing to actually do it.

I agree, Carter had by far his best chance of beating Ronnie at NI Trophy 2008 and couldnt win, neither could he in 2013 Worlds, and if he somehow beats Robbo that wont change with Ronnie playing well.
A robbo v ronnie match is a diferent story alltogether.

yes because if Carter wins might as well not turn up against Ronnie
Robbo playing like this will make Ronnie work hard for his win.
Pretty much my thought.

Ali vs Ronnie = Ali has less chance of winning than that girl with red hair in the crowd.
Which one? There are two

Ali really should have won that match in 2008. I still remember it well. But he rattled that match ball red in the decider.

Robbo looking less tight that he did before the MSI...
...but Ali can't take advantage.

Yes Robbo has gone off the boil slightly. Carter looks the better player at the moment.

Robbo's worst performance in a frame so far and he could still win it.

Huge frame this. If Ali loses this one it's all over for him.

4-1 Robbo.
Now that the hard work's done, I don't think Robbo needs to play as well as before to win the last two.

"You're not allowed back in once a frame commences."
That's an unusually knowledgeable remark from Dennis Taylor.

Yeah, late Christmas presents I would presume
No way back for him, unless Ali plays flawless snooker from here, robbo is in total control and wont let Ali comeback from this.

I can't wait for the Ronnie v Robbo semi final. They haven't played that many big matches against each other so far considering their status in the game.
